Material Culture Minute: Relics

Relics, often associated with a famous person from history, rarely come with the kind of documented provenance after which we (material culturalists, pickers, etc.) lust. And yet, they can lead us on fascinating research expeditions about someone or something we want to remember.

More importantly do you think that $9,500 is a good deal?

Story from the "Nota Bene" section of Arts & Letters Daily.
